BRADCORP SUPPORTS LOCAL BUSINESS

May 11, 2007
LEADING developer Bradcorp has reaffirmed its commitment to the prosperity of the local community by once again signing up a sponsor of this year’s Business Achiever Awards.

Bradcorp has an underlying focus of creating unique living environments that are of enduring value to the community, and has a strong connection with Macarthur through the Bradcorp Community Partnership Fund, which to date has donated over $1.45 million to the Macarthur region.

Late last year the NSW Minister for Planning, the Hon. Frank Sartor, officially turned the first sod at Bingara Gorge, marking the commencement of construction works on the $1 billion landmark development at Wilton.

Bingara Gorge is being developed in partnership with Delfin Lend Lease. It will provide a focal point for a quality lifestyle residential community in the region, being Sydney’s leading fully master planned and integrated, high-technology and environmentally sustainable community. It will include 1,165 residential lots, a country club and 18-hole Championship golf course designed by one of the world’s top ranked golfers, Ernie Els.

Bradcorp Chief Executive Peter Brennan says his company is proud to be part of the 2007 Business Achiever Awards.

“Our involvement is designed to encourage local business to strive for excellence and to support tourism to the area, because that will open up new opportunities for small business,” Mr. Brennan says.

It is estimated that Bingara Gorge will create over 300 new permanent jobs in the local area as well as 450 construction jobs over five years.

Mr. Brennan adds, “Through the Bradcorp Community Partnership Fund, we have continuously demonstrated that we take our commitment to the communities in which we operate very seriously.

“We see it as our duty to look beyond the houses we build to become part of the communities in which we operate. The interdependence between local business and local neighbourhoods is the hallmark of a healthy community.”
